O R D I N A N C E NO. 5648
AN ORDINANCE, providing revenue for improvements, and
for local matching funds for State and Federal grants, and
providing revenue for the operation and general purposes in the
Riverside Service Area of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District; providing a schedule of Contribution in Aid of
Construction (CIAC) fees to be collected for the connection
directly or indirectly of any building or other facility to the
sanitary sewer system and treatment facilities of the Riverside
Service Area; and providing a schedule of service charges to be
collected from all of the real property, whether public or
private, served directly or indirectly by the public sewer systems
and facilities of the Riverside Service Area.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. For the purpose of providing revenue for
improvements, and for local matching funds for State and Federal
grants, there is hereby authorized and directed to be charged and
collected by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
Contribution in Aid of Construction (CIAC) fees for the connection
directly or indirectly of any building or other facility to the
sanitary sewer system and treatment facilities of the Riverside
Service Area. Said fees shall be assessed and collected in
accordance with Rate Schedules A, B, and C, as approved by the
Missouri Public Service Commission on May 10, 1982, and made
effective August 23, 1982, and attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
Section Two. For the purpose of providing revenue for
the operation and general purposes of the Riverside Service Area,
there is hereby authorized and directed to be charged and
collected by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District service
charges for all of the real property, whether public or private,
served directly or indirectly by the public sewer systems and
facilities of the Riverside Service Area. Said charges shall be
assessed and collected in accordance with Rate Schedule D, as
approved by the Missouri Public Service Commission on May 10,
1982, and made effective August 23, 1982, and attached hereto and
made a part hereof.
Section Three. The fees and charges as specified by
this ordinance shall become effective July 1, 1984.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 20, 1984
