HomeMy Public PortalAbout05663 O R D I N A N C E NO. 5663 AN ORDINANCE, vacating portions of sewer easements in a tract of land being part of Lot 2 of Washington Ross Estate and in U.S. Survey 433, Township 46 North, Range 5 East, and in Fern Ridge Condominium, in St. Louis County, Missouri, WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has granted to the District a suitable alternate easement, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The following described portions of a sewer easement are hereby vacated, to wit: Two portions of sewer easements in a tract of land being part of Lot 2 of Washington Ross Estate and in U.S. Survey 433, Township 46 North, Range 5 East, as recorded in Plat Book 10, Page 24 of the City of St. Louis Records, and also being in Fern Ridge Condominium as recorded in Plat Book 224 Page 69 of the St. Louis County Records, and more particularly described as follows: Portion 1 - Commencing at an old stone in the East line of said Lot 2 of Washington Ross Estate; thence leaving the East line of said Lot 2 and along the line South of and parallel to the North line of the South half of said Lot 2, said line also being the Northerly line of a tract of land, now or formerly, of Castillon's Investment Company as recorded in Deed Book 6429 Page 1978, of the St. Louis County Records; thence North 81 degrees 12 minutes 52 seconds West, a distance of one hundred thirty nine and 63/100 feet (139.63') to a point; thence leaving said North line, North 8 degrees 47 minutes 8 seconds East, a distance of ninety three and 22/100 feet (93.22') to the point of beginning; thence North 25 degrees 34 minutes 25 seconds West, a distance of ten feet (10') to a point; thence North 64 degrees 25 minutes 35 seconds East a distance of twenty one feet (21') to a point; thence South 25 degrees 34 minutes 25 seconds East, a distance of ten feet (10') to a point; thence South 64 degrees 25 minutes 35 seconds West, a distance of twenty one feet (21') to the point of beginning. Portion 2 - Commencing at an old stone in the East line of said Lot 2 of Washington Ross Estate; thence leaving the East line of said Lot 2 and along the line South of and parallel to the North line of the South half of said Lot 2, said line also being the Northerly line of a tract of land, now or formerly, of Castillon's Investment Company as recorded in Deed Book 6429 Page 1978, of the St. Louis County Records; thence North 81 degrees 12 minutes 52 seconds West, a distance of two hundred eighty feet (280') to a point; thence leaving said North line, North 8 degrees 47 minutes 8 seconds East, a distance of forty six and 66/100 feet (46.66') to the point of beginning; thence North 76 degrees 51 minutes 33 seconds West, a distance of ten feet (10') to a point; thence North 13 degrees 8 minutes 27 seconds East, a distance of fifty three and 33/100 feet (53.33') to a point; thence South 1 degree 59 minutes 24 seconds West, a distance of forty one and 90/100 feet (41.90') to a point; thence South 88 degrees 0 minutes 36 seconds East, a distance of one and 93/100 feet (1.93') to a point; thence South 13 degrees 8 minutes 27 seconds West, a distance of twelve and 60/100 feet (12.60') to the point of beginning.
