HomeMy Public PortalAbout05685 O R D I N A N C E NO. 5685 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Eighty-three Thousand Dollars ($383,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for the construction of sanitary and storm sewers, together with repayment of the cost of Engineering, Survey and Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection with such construction project, in Ardelia Sanitary Relief (S-2132, C-1061) and Ardelia #8600 (S-1982, C-1096), in the City of St. John, Missouri, WHEREAS, the State of Missouri, has agreed to contribute One Hundred Fifty-seven Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($157,250.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of St. John, Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to contribute One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Eighty-three Thousand Dollars ($383,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Fund of Maline Creek to be used for the construction of sanitary and storm sewers, together with repayment of the costs of Engineering, Survey and Inspection and miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection with such construction project, in Ardelia Sanitary Relief (S-2132, C-1061) and Ardelia #8600 (S-1982, C-1096), in the City of St. John, Missouri. Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 11, 1984. -2-
