HomeMy Public PortalAbout05694AMENDED BY NO. 5745 O R D I N A N C E NO. 5694 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to lease to Earl's Longwood Auto Parts certain real property of the District in St. Louis County, Missouri for use as a parking lot, and to execute a Lease Agreement upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set out. WHEREAS, the use of said property as herein specified will not interfere with any District operations, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby authorized and directed to lease to Earl's Longwood Auto Parts, upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set out, for use as a parking lot, the following described real property of the District in St. Louis County, Missouri, to wit: A tract of land in St. Louis County, Missouri, being partly in U. S. Survey 904, Township 44 North, Range 7 East and partly in Carondelet Commons, and being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Westernmost corner of property conveyed to the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, a public corporation of the State of Missouri, by Deed recorded in Book 6305, Page 1288 of the St. Louis County Records; said point being in the Southeast line of Broadway Avenue, 60 feet wide; thence South 35 degrees 43 minutes 00 seconds East a distance of 16.50 feet along the southwest line of said Sewer District property to the actual point of beginning; thence North 53 degrees 51 minutes 45 seconds East, along the Southeast line of Broadway Avenue, as widened, a distance of 65.14 feet to a point; thence South 53 degrees 03 minutes 20 seconds East, a distance of 23.02 feet to a point; thence South 36 degrees 52 minutes 57 seconds East, a distance of 122.03 feet to a point; thence South 54 degrees 17 minutes 00 seconds West, a distance of 74.48 feet to a point in the Southwest line of said Sewer District property; thence along said Southwest line, North 35 degrees 43 minutes 00 seconds West, a distance of 143.50 feet to the point of beginning. Section Two. The lease shall be for a term of five (5) years, commencing April 1, 1984 and terminating March 31, 1989, at the rental of Eighty-five Dollars ($85.00) per month. Section Three. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby authorized and directed to execute a Lease Agreement giving effect to Sections One and Two hereof, and embodying such other terms and conditions as approved by the Director of Legal Services. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 18, 1984. -2-
