TOWN OF FRASER
RESOLUTION NO. 12-04-07
ADOPTING FEES FOR WATER SERVICE IN THE TOWN OF FRASER, COLORADO
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 173, the Board of Trustees may adjust
fees as necessary for ~he operation of municipal services;
WHEREAS, the Town of Fraser last raised water rates January 1, 2006;
WHEREAS, costs associated with utilities and equipment necessary to operate
the system have increased; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees wishes to maintain and improve the Town's
existing water infrastructure and desires to build a reserve fund in order to efficiently
and effectively manage the Town's water system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
TOWN OF FRASER, COLORADO THAT the following rates shall be approved and
become effective January 1, 2008:
1. Rates for water service for un-metered water service shall be $110.00 per
quarter per Single Family Equivalent (SFE), billed quarterly.
2. Water accounts that have not completed installation of water meters
pursuant to the requirements of the Water Meter Project prior to the
completion deadline of September 30, 2006 shall be assessed a penalty
of $50.00 per quarter per Single Family Equivalent (SFE) in addition to
the regular rate of $110.00 per quarter.
3. The fire protection rate shall be set at $46.00 per quarter per property so
assessed, billed quarterly.
