AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to lease to James Buford, certain real
property of the District in St. Louis County, Missouri, known as
the Arnold Lagoon Site for the planting and harvesting of crops,
and to execute a Lease Agreement upon the terms and conditions
hereinafter set out.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
are hereby authorized and directed to lease to James Buford upon
the terms and conditions hereinafter set out, for the planting and
harvesting of crops, the real property of the District in St.
Louis County, Missouri, known as the Arnold Lagoon Site, and also
known and numbered as 7981 Fine Road.
Section Two. The lease shall be for a term of Five (5)
years, commencing September 1, 1984 and terminating August 31,
1989, at the annual rental of Fifteen percent (15%) of the gross
revenue realized for all crops planted and harvested upon said
real property, with a minimum annual rental payment of Four
Hundred Dollars ($400.00).
Section Three. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a Lease Agreement
giving effect to Sections One and Two hereof, and embodying such
other terms and conditions as approved by the Director of Legal
Services.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 22, 1984.
