HomeMy Public PortalAbout05772 O R D I N A N C E NO. 5772 AN ORDINANCE, amending Ordinance No. 5648, as adopted June 20, 1984, by repealing Section Two, and enacting a new Section Two in lieu thereof, specifying the service charges for all real property served by the public sewer systems and facilities of the Riverside Service Area of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Section Two of Ordinance No. 5648, as adopted June 20, 1984, is hereby repealed. Section Two.Section Two of Ordinance No. 5648 shall read as follows: Section Two. For the purpose of providing revenue for the operation and general purposes of the Riverside Service Area, there is hereby authorized and directed to be charged and collected by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District service charges for all of the real property, whether public or private, served directly or indirectly by the public sewer systems and facilities of the Riverside Service Area. Said charges shall be assessed and collected in accordance with Rate Schedules A and D, as attached hereto and made a part hereof. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 28, 1984. RATE SCHEDULE "A" RESIDENCE FAMILY DWELLING Availability: This rate is available for single family residence,three bedroom, two bedroom and single bedroom apartments and each mobile home in a mobile home park. Residences located on the Company's collection sewer, suitable for providing the service requested. C I A C Fee Charge Residential Single Family Residence $400.00 Single and two bedroom apartments $320.00 Each Mobile Home Residence $300.00 All applicable Federal, State or Local taxes shall be added in addition to the above charges. Rate Table Month Service Charge Single Family Residence $ 6.25 Single and Two Bedroom Apartments $ 6.25 Each Mobile Home Residence $ 6.25 All applicable Federal, State or Local taxes shall be added in addition to the above charges. RATE SCHEDULE "B" Commercial Establishments Availability: This rate is available in service area to commercial establishments located on the Company's collecting sewer suitable for providing the service requested, for domestic sewage only. Rate Table: The C I A C fee shall be as enumerated for the uses listed. If a facility is constructed which is not enumerated in the uses listed below, the C I A C fee shall be one ($1.00) dollars per gallon, times the daily design waste discharge. RATE SCHEDULE "B" COMMERCIAL ESTABLISHMENTS The C I A C fee paid shall be based upon the ultimate waste discharge design capacity of a Customer's facility. If modifications are made or additional facilities are constructed beyond the original ultimate design an additional C I A C fee shall be due based upon the amount of the increase in discharge capacity. Ft. of Area $350.00 Hotels, *Room $100.00 Laundromats, Per Machine $250.00 Laundries, Per Washer @ Per Pound Bases $ 7.00 Motels, *Room $200.00 Restaurants - Paper Service or Carry Out $900.00 Restaurants - Full Service, Per Seat $ 55.00 Service Station* Per Car Bay $400.00 Swimming Pools Per 20 Sq. Ft. of Pool Area $ 15.00 Tavern, Bars, Cocktail Lounges Per Seating Capacity $ 45.00 Public Meeting, Conventions & Banquet Rooms Per 15 Sq. Ft. $ 5.00 Parks, Public or Private Per Acre $150.00 Ice Hockey or Tennis*, Per 30 Sq. Ft. of Floor Area $ 25.00 Trailer Parks*, Overnight, or Maxim One Week Stop Per Unit Pad $100.00 *Add estimates for public facilities associated therewith such as restaurants, public areas, stores, etc. ** Garbage Grinders $1,500.00 additional All applicable Federal, State or Local Taxes shall be added in addition to the above charges. RATE SCHEDULE "C" PLANNED INDUSTRIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS Availability: This rate is available in service area to planned industrial and institutional establishments located on Company's collection sewer suitable for providing the service requested, for domestic sewage only. Rate Table: The C I A C fee shall be as enumerated for the uses listed. If a facility is constructed which is not enumerated in the uses listed below, the C I A C fee shall be one ($1.00) dollar per gallon, times the daily design waste discharge. C I A C Fee Charge: Industrial* Manufacturing of Sales $800.00 (Per Employee for all over 8) $ 45.00 Hospital* - Per Bed $200.00 Nursing Homes* - Per Bed $100.00 Laundries - Per Washer @ Per Pound Bases $ 7.00 Industrial - with water or liquid processing or discharge of cooling water in sanitary sewer system - deposit estimated to provide one dollar ($1.00) per gallon per day on water actually consumed. All applicable Federal, State or Local taxes shall be added in addition to the above charges. RATE SCHEDULE "D" SEWER SERVICE RATE SCHEDULE Commercial, planned industrial and institutional establishments: Availability: This rate is available in any sewer service area to commercial, planned industrial and institutional establishments located on the Company's collecting sewers suitable for providing the service requested for sewage only. Rate Table: The sewer service schedule for commercial, planned industrial and institutional and other sewage service --- based upon quarterly consumption of water used on premises, as follows: First 25,000 cu. ft. of water used at $1.24 per 100 cu. ft. Usage in excess of 25,000 cu. ft. at $ .85 per 100 cu. ft. B.O.D. surcharge for treatment of waste with a B.O.D. exceeding 300 PPM. $120/Ton Suspended solids surcharge for treatment of waste with suspended solids exceeding 350 PPM. $120/Ton Minimum monthly charge - $12.00 These rates do not include any municipal, state or federal taxes computed on either billing or consumption basis. Any such taxes applicable shall be added as separate items in rendering each bill. Basis for cubic feet by actual water meter readings.
