AN ORDINANCE, transferring One Million Eight Hundred
Ninety-nine Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-eight Dollars
($1,899,488.00) as a loan from the General Fund of the District to
the Mississippi River Construction Fund, and appropriating Three
Million Six Hundred Eighty-eight Thousand Six Hundred Dollars
($3,688,600.00) from the Mississippi River Construction Fund to be
used for the construction of sanitary sewers, together with
repayment of the cost of Engineering, Survey and Inspection, and
miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection with such
construction project, in Maline Creek Sewer and Channel
Improvements (S-2173, C-1063A), in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri, and St. Louis County, Missouri, and directing repayment
of said loan.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri, has agreed to
contribute One Million Seven Hundred Eighty-nine Thousand One
Hundred Twelve Dollars ($1,789,112.00) toward the total costs of
said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source,
said money will be returned to the Mississippi River Construction
Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Eight Hundred Ninety-
nine Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-eight Dollars ($1,899,488.00) is
hereby transferred as a loan from the General Fund of the District
to the Mississippi River Construction Fund.
Section Two. The sum of Three Million Six Hundred
Eighty-eight Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($3,688,600.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Mississippi River Construction Fund
to be used for the construction of sanitary sewers, together with
repayment of the costs of Engineering, Survey and Inspection, and
miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection with such
construction project, in Maline Creek Sewer and Channel
Improvements (S-2173, C-1063A), in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri, and St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Three. The Director of Finance is hereby
directed to repay to the General Fund of the District the loan as
provided in Section One of this ordinance as funds become
available in the Mississippi River Subdistrict.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 28, 1984.
