HomeMy Public PortalAbout05854 O R D I N A N C E NO. 5854 AN ORDINANCE, vacating a portion of an easement in Lots 18, 39 and 40 of Conner's Subdivision No. 20, in City Block 262, St. Louis, Missouri; WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has requested this District to vacate such portion of easement, and this District has no use or need for such portion of easement, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The following described portion of a ten foot (10') wide sewer easement is hereby vacated, to wit: Beginning at the intersection of the North line of Carr Street fifty feet (50') wide, with the West line of said easement, said intersection being North 75 degrees 07 minutes West a distance of ninety-eight feet (98') from the west line of Tenth Street fifty feet (50') wide, thence North 14 degrees 55 minutes East along the West line of said easement a distance of one hundred thirty one feet (131') to the South line of a western branch of said easement, thence North 75 degrees 05 minutes West along said South line of said western branch a distance of seventy-four feet (74') to the point of beginning, thence continuing North 75 degrees 05 minutes West along said South line a distance of sixty-five feet (65') to the West line of said branch, thence North 14 degrees 55 minutes East along said West line of said branch a distance of ten feet (10') to the North line of said branch, thence South 75 degrees 05 minutes East along the North line of said West branch a distance of sixty-five feet (65'), thence South 14 degrees 55 minutes West along a line parallel to the West line of said branch a distance of ten feet (10') to the point of beginning, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 51 Page 35 of The City of St. Louis Records, and also being the westernmost sixty-five feet (65') of an easement dedicated to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and recorded in Book 263M page 397 of The City of St. Louis Records. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 9, 1985. -2-
