AN ORDINANCE, awarding a contract to National Union
Fire Insurance Company (Lawton, Byrne, Bruner Insurance Agency
Co., agent) for the District's Public Official Liability Insurance
coverage from March 1, 1985 to February 28, 1986, with an
emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The National Union Fire Insurance
Company, who submitted the lowest overall bid to the District for
the District's Public Official Liability Insurance coverage of
those bids received and opened on February 8, 1985, at 11:00
A.M., at the District's office, at and for an annual premium of
Fourteen Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy Dollars ($14,770.00) for
such policy period, is hereby awarded the contract for such
liability coverage from March 1, 1985 to February 28, 1986.
Section Two. The insurance coverage as specified
herein is necessary for the protection of the public welfare, and
the contract for such coverage must be awarded without delay, thus
creating an emergency within the meaning of the Plan.
Accordingly, this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 20, 1985.
