AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Two Hundred
Five Thousand Dollars ($205,000.00) from the Valley Sewage Company
Operating Fund for the cost of continuing Step 2 engineering
designs of trunk sewers and facilities in the Lower Meramec River
Basin - Yarnell Creek Interceptor Sewer. (Part of Federal Project
No. C-290875).
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the continuation of the
Step 2 engineering design of trunk sewers and facilities in the
Lower Meramec River Basin - Yarnell Creek Interceptor Sewer, (Part
of Federal Project No. C-290875), and
WHEREAS, under the 1981 Amendments to the Clean Water
Act funding for Step 1 and Step 2 grants must be advanced by the
grantee, and allowance will be made for the federal share and
state share of advanced funds when the grantee receives the Step 3
Construction Grant, and
WHEREAS, when this allowance is made, said funds shall
be repaid to the Valley Sewage Company Operating Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Five Thousand
Dollars ($205,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Valley
Sewage Company Operating Fund for the cost of continuing Step 2
engineering designs of trunk sewers and facilities in the Lower
Meramec River Basin - Yarnell Creek Interceptor Sewer. (Part of
Federal Project No. C-290875).
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 27, 1985.
