AN ORDINANCE, awarding a contract to American Casualty
Company (CNA Group) (Ricci Associates, Inc., agent) for the
District's Boiler and Machinery Insurance coverage from March 1,
1985 to February 28, 1986, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The American Casualty Company (CNA
Group), who submitted the lowest bid to the District for the
District's Fiduciary Liability Insurance coverage, of those bids
received and opened on February 21, 1985, at 11:00 A.M., at the
District's office, at and for an annual premium of Four Thousand
Two Hundred Eighty-three Dollars ($4,283.00) for such policy
period, is hereby awarded the contract for such liability coverage
from March 1, 1985 to February 28, 1986.
Section Two. The insurance coverage as specified
herein is necessary for the protection of the public welfare, and
the contract for such coverage must be awarded without delay, thus
creating an emergency within the meaning of the Plan.
Accordingly, this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 27, 1985.
