O R D I N A N C E NO. 5938
AN ORDINANCE, awarding a contract to Constitution State
Insurance Company (Continental American Agency, Inc., agent) for
the District's Umbrella Excess Liability Insurance coverage from
March 1, 1985 to February 28, 1986, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Constitution State Insurance Company
is hereby awarded the contract for the District's Umbrella Excess
Liability Insurance coverage from March 1, 1985 to February 28,
1986 at and for an annual premium of Fifty-four Thousand One
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($54,150.00) for such policy period.
Section Two. The. insurance coverage as specified
herein is necessary for the protection of the public welfare, and
the contract for such coverage must be awarded without delay, thus
creating an emergency within the meaning of the Plan.
Accordingly, this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 13, 1985.
