AN ORDINANCE, providing revenue for improvements, and
for local matching funds for State and Federal grants, and
providing revenue for the operation and general purposes in the
Martigney Creek Service Area of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District; providing a schedule of service charges to be collected
from all of the real property, whether public or private, served
directly or indirectly by the public sewer systems and facilities
of the Martigney Creek Service Area.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. For the purpose of providing revenue for
improvements, and for local matching funds for State and Federal
grants, and for the operation and general purposes of the
Martigney Creek Service Area, there is hereby authorized and
directed to be charged and collected by The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District service charges for all of the real property,
whether public or private, served directly or indirectly by the
public sewer systems and facilities of the Martigney Creek Service
Area. Said charges shall be assessed and collected in accordance
with Rate Schedule No. 1, as approved by the Missouri Public
Service Commission, and made effective November 1, 1984, and
attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section Two. The fees and charges as specified herein
shall become effective immediately upon the adoption of this
ordinance.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 27, 1985.

RESIDENTIAL RATE: (1) Single Family: Gravity $ 21.45 Quarterly Force 24.02 Quarterly (2) Condominiums: Gravity $ 17.16 Quarterly Force -0- Quarterly (3) Apartments: Gravity $ 17.16 Quarterly Force -0- Quarterly COMMERCIAL Commercial Maintenance Fees will be based on water usage for each installed water meter on the premises and rated in accordance with the following schedule: First 12,000 Cubic Feet per year or less $ 85.80 Per Year OR $ 21.45 Per Quarter Additional Usage over 12,000 Cubic Feet per year . . . . . . . . . $ .715 per 100 Cubic Feet When two (2) or more separate premises are served water through a sample meter, the minimum charge and the water usage schedule as specified above shall be multiplied by the number of premises served. TERMS: (A)Commercial Maintenance Fees are payable quarterly, in advance, and will be based on one-fourth (1/4) of the water usage in the previous year. (B)Commercial Maintenance Fees will be adjusted annually on the
basis of actual water usage on the premises for the previous year. The Customer will be billed or credited for the difference between the amount TEMPORARY SURCHARGE APPLICABILITY To all customers (Residential, Apartment, Condominium, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional and Governmental) of the Company. SURCHARGE Amount per Billing Unit.................... $ .45 Quarterly (Residential, Apartment, Condominium, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional and Governmental) PURPOSE AND DURATION This Surcharge is being levied as of the effective date of this Tariff Sheet for the purpose of funding Interest Charges on a Loan of $60,211.15. This Surcharge shall remain in effect until a decision is made on the Permanent Rate Case to be filed sixty to ninety days after this increase in rates is granted; however, under no circumstances, unless the Commission deems it necessary, will this Surcharge remain in effect beyond 12 months from the effective date of this Tariff. *Indicates new rate or text +Indicates change DATE OF ISSUE September 13, 1983 DATE EFFECTIVE October 1, 1983
