AN ORDINANCE, transferring Two Hundred Twenty-five
Thousand Dollars ($225,000.00) from the Bonfils Operating Fund,
and Seventy-five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) from the Missouri
Bottoms Operating Fund to the Subdistrict Planning Fund, and
appropriating Four Hundred Eighty-four Thousand Dollars ($484,000)
from the Subdistrict Planning Fund for the design of the Missouri
River Wastewater Treatment Plant Phases II, III, and IV in the
Lower Missouri River Basin. (Part of Federal Project No. C-
291148)
WHEREAS, under the 1981 Amendments to the Clean Water
Act, funding for Step 1 and Step 2 grants must be advanced by the
grantee, and allowance will be made for the federal share and
state share of advanced funds when the grantee receives the Step 3
Construction Grant, and
WHEREAS, when this allowance is made, said funds shall
be repaid to the Subdistrict Planning Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Twenty-five
Thousand Dollars ($225,000.00) is hereby transferred from the
Bonfils Operating Fund to the Subdistrict Planning Fund.
Section Two. The sum of Seventy-five Thousand Dollars
($75,000.00) is from the Missouri Bottoms Operating Fund to the
Subdistrict Planning Fund.
Section Three. The sum of Four Hundred Eighty-four
Thousand Dollars ($484,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Subdistrict Planning Fund for the design of the Missouri River
Wastewater Treatment Plant Phases II, III, and IV in the Lower
Missouri River Basin. (Part of Federal Project No. C-291148).
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 10, 1985.
