Home My Public Portal About05998 O R D I N A N C E NO. 5998 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Million Four Hundred Ninety-four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,494,500.00) from the Fee Fee Sewer Extension and Improvement Fund of which One Hundred Forty-nine Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Dollars ($149,450.00) is to be used to pay the District's ten percent (10%) share; a grant of One Million One Hundred Twenty Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($1,120,875.00) is anticipated from the Environmental Protection Agency, and a grant of Two Hundred Twenty-four Thousand One Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($224,175.00) is anticipated from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for Contracts E-396, Amendment 2 (Engineering Services during construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station, Force Main, and Interceptor Trunk Sewer), C-972 (Construction. of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main), C-973 Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station), C-991 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main Discharge Structure), C-974 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "A"), C-975 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "B"), C-976 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "C"), C-977 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "D"), and C-978 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "E"), Federal Project C-291148- 06. WHEREAS, the District anticipates a seventy-five percent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost of said project, and WHEREAS, a fifteen percent (15%) grant is anticipated from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of said project, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Forty-nine Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Dollars ($149,450.00) is hereby appropriated from the Fee Fee Sewer Extension and Improvement Fund to pay ten percent (10%) of the cost for Contracts E-396, Amendment 2 (Engineering Services during construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station, Force Main, and Interceptor Trunk Sewer), C-972 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main), C- 973 Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station), C-991 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main Discharge Structure), C-974 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "A"), C-975 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "B"), C-976 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "C"), C-977 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "D"), and C-978 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "E"), Federal Project C-291148-06. Section Two. The anticipated grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States amounts to One Million One Hundred Twenty Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($1,120,875.00), which will be deposited in the Fee Fee Sewer Extension and Improvement Fund, and is to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost for Contracts E-396, Amendment 2 (Engineering Services during construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station, Force Main, and Interceptor Trunk Sewer), C-972 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main), C-973 Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station), C-991 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main Discharge Structure), C-974 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "A"), C-975 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "B"), C-976 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor Reach "C"), C-977 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "D"), and C-978 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "E"), Federal Project C-291148-06; and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for said project. Section Three. Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 10, 1985.
