Next Round of Downtown Street Improvements Begins
Monday, June 10, 2013, on Church Street
Leesburg, VA (June 5, 2013) – On
Monday, June 10, 2013, Arthur
Construction Company will begin
construction of street improvements
on Church Street, between Loudoun
Street and Royal Street, in downtown
Leesburg.
The improvements will include new
storm drains with curb and gutter,
new brick sidewalks and pavement
resurfacing. The new sections of
sidewalk will connect with existing
sidewalks, improving pedestrian access to the businesses located on Church Street including the
Mason Enterprise Center business incubator. Construction work will take place between 7am
and 7pm, Monday through Friday.
During construction, residents and businesses on Church Street should expect some traffic
disruption. The project is expected to be completed in early September 2013. For more
