AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
Three Hundred Seventy-five Thousand Dollars ($375,000.00) from the
Subdistrict Planning Fund of the District, of which Thirty-seven
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($37,500.00) is to be used to pay
the District's share, Two Hundred Eighty-one Thousand Two Hundred
Fifty Dollars ($281,250.00) will be received from the
Environmental Protection Agency and Fifty-six Thousand Two Hundred
Fifty Dollars ($56,250.00) will be received from the Clean Water
Commission for the cost of amended infiltration inflow studies and
sewer system evaluation surveys in the Lower Meramec River Basin,
St. Louis County Sewer System, (Federal Project C-290875-01,
Amendment No. 6).
WHEREAS, the District has received a seventy-five
percent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of
the United States government to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of
the eligible costs of said work, and
WHEREAS, the District has received a fifteen percent
(15%) grant from the Clean Water Commission of the State of
Missouri to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the eligible costs of
said work,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty-seven Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($37,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Subdistrict Planning Fund of the District to pay ten percent (10%)
of the eligible costs of amended infiltration - inflow studies and
sewer system evaluation surveys in the Lower Meramec River Basin
St. Louis County Sewer System.
Section Two. The grant from the Environmental
Protection Agency of the United States government will amount to
Two Hundred Eighty-one Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars
($281,250.00) which, when received, will be deposited in the
Subdistrict Planning Fund of the District, and is to pay seventy-
five percent (75%) of the eligible costs of amended infiltration
inflow studies and sewer system evaluation surveys in the Lower
Meramec River Basin, St. Louis County Sewer System, and said
amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments
when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for said
work.
Section Three. The grant from the Clean Water
Commission of the State of Missouri will amount to Fifty-six
Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($56,250.00) which, when
received, will be deposited in the Subdistrict Planning Fund of
the District, and is to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the eligible
costs of amended infiltration - inflow studies and sewer system
evaluation surveys in the Lower Meramec River Basin, St. Louis
County Sewer System, and said amount is hereby appropriated to be
used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of
the contracts for said work.
Section Four. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 12, 1985.
