REQUESTING APPROVAL OF INSERTION OF $25,000
- THE 1996 BUDGET REVENUE AVAILABLE FROM THE
COPS UNIVERSAL HIRING GRANT
WHEREAS, N.J.S. 40:4-87 provides that the Director of Local
Government Services may approve the insertion of any special
item of revenue in the budget of any municipality when such
item shall have been made available by law and the amount
thereof was not determined at the time of the adoption of the
budget, and
WHEREAS, said Director may also approve the insertion of any
item of appropriation for equal amount.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough of Carteret
hereby requests the Director of the Division of Local
Government Services to approve the insertion of an item of
revenue in the budget of the year 1996 in the sum of $25,000
which item is now available as a revenue from the tops
Universal Hiring Grant.
- BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a like sum of $25,000 be and the
same is hereby appropriated under the caption of:
Cops Universal Hiring Grant $25,000
Adopted this 7th day of November, 1996
and certified as a true copy of the
original on November 8, 1996.
