AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
the Secretary-Treasurer of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to purchase from the owners thereof certain real property
in St. Louis County, Missouri, for future improvements to Maline
Creek.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer of the District are hereby authorized to purchase from
the owners thereof, the following real property in St. Louis
County, Missouri, for future improvements to Maline Creek, at a
price not to exceed Thirty-two Thousand Dollars ($32,000.00), said
property to be free from all encumbrances, said property described
as follows: Lot 5 in Block 26 of Florissant Road Terrace, a subdivision in St. Louis County, Missouri, as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 19, Page 10 of the St. Louis County Records, known and numbered as 601 Belmont Avenue.
Section Two. Upon the execution and delivery to them
by said owner of a General Warranty Deed in proper form, being
free from liens and encumbrances, conveying title to the said land
to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Executive
Director and the Secretary-Treasurer shall be and are hereby
authorized and directed to pay to said owners, for the said land,
the total sum of Thirty-two Thousand Dollars ($32,000.00).
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 26, 1985.
