AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into an Easement Agreement with the
United States Environmental Protection Agency and the Missouri
Department of Natural Resources whereby certain real property of
the District in St. Louis County, Missouri known as Tract of
Castlewood Subdivision will be used for the construction and
maintenance of temporary storage structures for the consolidation
of dioxin-contaminated material, and those activities associated
with the identification and removal or consolidation of said
material from the EPA-designated Castlewood Site.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an Easement
Agreement with the United States Environmental Protection Agency
and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources whereby certain
real property of the District in St. Louis County, Missouri known
as Tract of Castlewood Subdivision will be used for the
construction and maintenance of temporary storage structures for
the consolidation of dioxin-contaminated material, and those
activities associated with the identification and removal or
consolidation of said material from the EPA-designated Castlewood
Site.
Section Two. The Easement Agreement as authorized in
Section One of this Ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and
conditions as are approved by the Assistant Executive Director and
General Counsel of the District. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 26, 1985.
