HomeMy Public PortalAbout06153 O R D I N A N C E NO. 6153 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to convey certain real property of the District in the City of Overland, Missouri, known and numbered as 2544 Sims Avenue, to Louis J. Dickinson and Judith Ann Dickinson, his wife, and prescribing the terms for said conveyance. WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1734, adopted June 12, 1985, declared said real property to be surplus, and directing that it shall be disposed of at a price not less than Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), and WHEREAS, bids for said real property were solicited pursuant to an advertisement in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on June 16, 1985, and WHEREAS, Louis J. Dickinson and Judith Ann Dickinson, his wife, submitted the highest bid for said real property at Fifty-two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($52,500.00), NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to convey certain real property of the District in the City of Overland, Missouri to Louis J. Dickinson and Judith Ann Dickinson, his wife, said real property being described as follows: Part of Lot 6 of the Subdivision of Block 3 and part of Block 4 of South Ashby, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 12, Page 108 of the St. Louis County Recorder's Office, known and numbered as 2544 Sims Avenue. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to execute and deliver a general Warranty Deed to Louis J. Dickinson and Judith Ann Dickinson, his wife, for the above-described real property upon the receipt of Fifty-two Thousand Five Hundred dollars ($52,500.00) from Louis J. Dickinson and Judith Ann Dickinson, his wife, for the purchase of said real property. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 24, 1985.
