Home My Public Portal About06187 O R D I N A N C E NO. 6187 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Seventy One Thousand Dollars ($671,000.00) from the Mississippi River Construction Fund of which One Hundred Thirty Four Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($134,200.00) is to be used to pay the District's twenty percent (20%) share; a grant of Three Hundred Sixty Nine Thousand and Fifty Dollars ($369,050.00) is anticipated from the Environmental Protection Agency, and a grant of One Hundred Sixty Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($167,750.00) is anticipated from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for Contracts E-545 (Engineering Services during construction of the Bissell Point Flow Meters) and C-1185 (Construction of the Bissell Point Flow Meters), Federal Project C-290641-04. WHEREAS, the District anticipates a fifty-five percent (55%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency, of the United States to pay fifty-five percent (55%) of the cost of said project, and WHEREAS, a twenty-five percent (25%) grant is anticipated from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to pay twenty-five percent (25%) of the cost of said project, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thirty-four Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($134,200.00) is hereby appropriated from the Mississippi River Construction Fund to pay twenty percent (20%) of the cost for Contracts E-545 (Engineering Services during construction of the Bissell Point Flow Meters) and C-1185 (Construction of the Bissell Point Flow Meters), Federal Project C-290641-04. Section Two. The anticipated grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States amounts to Three Hundred Sixty Nine Thousand and Fifty Dollars ($369,050.00), which will be deposited in the Mississippi River Construction Fund and is to pay fifty-five percent (55%) of the cost for Contracts E-545 (Engineering Services during the construction of the Bissell Point Flow Meters) and C-1185 (Construction of the Bissell Point Flow Meters), Federal Project C-290641-04; and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for said project. Section Three. The anticipated grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources amounts to One Hundred Sixty Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($167,750.00), which will be deposited in the Mississippi River Construction Fund, and is to pay twenty-five percent (25%) of the cost for Contracts E-545 (Engineering Services during construction of the Bissell Point Flow Meters) and C-1185 (Construction of the Bissell Point Flow Meters), Federal Project C-290641-04; and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for said project. Section Four. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 11, 1985.
