AUTHORIZING PURCHASING AGENT TO ADVERTISE FOR
PUBLIC BIDS FOR 15 MOBILE HOME HEATING UNITS
WHEREAS, the Community Development Office in the Borough of Carteret has
requested and received approval for a Federal Grant of $35,000.00 for the
replacement of heating systems and other repairs in the two Mobile Home Parks in
the Borough; and
WHEREAS, applications have been solicited, received and reviewed from eligible
low to moderate income mobile home owners for heating system replacement at this
time; and
WHEREAS, Community Development has received authorization from Middlesex
- County Housing & Community Development to expend such funds as of October 8,
1996; and
WHEREAS, Community Development has requested the Purchasing Agent to
publicly advertise bids to replace 15 heating systems in the two Mobile Parks in the
Borough;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit public bids For the
purpose of replacing 15 mobile heating units.

and certified as a true copy of the original
on November 8, 1996.
