Home My Public Portal About06271 O R D I N A N C E NO. 6271 AN ORDINANCE, transferring One Hundred Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($102,500.00) as a loan from the General Fund of the District to the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account, and making a supplemental appropriation of One Million Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($1,025,000.00) from the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account of which One Hundred Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($102,500.00) is to be used to pay the District's ten percent (10%) share; a grant of Seven Hundred Sixty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($768,750.00) is anticipated from the Environmental Protection Agency and a grant of One Hundred Fifty- three Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($153,750.00) is anticipated from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for Contracts E-396, Amendment 3 (Engineering Services during construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station, Force Main and Interceptor Trunk Sewer), C-972 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main), C-973 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station), C-991 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main Discharge Structure), C-974 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "A"), C-975 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "B"), C-976 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "C"), C-977 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "D") and C-978 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "E"), Federal Project C-291148-06, and providing for repayment of said loan. WHEREAS, the District anticipates a seventy-five percent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost of said project, and WHEREAS, a fifteen percent (15%) grant is anticipated from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of said project, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($102.500.00) is hereby transferred as a loan from the General Fund of the District to the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account. Section Two. The sum of One Hundred Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($102,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account to pay ten percent (10%) of the cost for Contracts E-396, Amendment 3 (Engineering Services during construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station, Force Main and Interceptor Trunk Sewer), C-972 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main), C-973 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station), C-991 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main Discharge Structure), C-974 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "A"), C-975 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "B"), C-976 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "C"), C-977 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "D") and C-978 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary 3 Interceptor - Reach "E"), Federal Project C-291148-06. Section Three. The anticipated grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States amounts to Seven Hundred Sixty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($768,750.00), which will be deposited in the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account, and is to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost for Contracts E-396, Amendment 3 (Engineering Services during construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station, Force Main and Interceptor Trunk Sewer), C-972 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main), C-973 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station), C-991 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main Discharge Structure), C-974 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "A"), C-975 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "B"), C-976 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "C"), C-977 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "D") and C-978 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "E"), Federal Project C-291148-06; and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for said project. Section Four. The anticipated grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources amounts to One Hundred Fifty-three Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($153,750.00), which will be deposited in the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account, and is to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the cost for Contracts E-396, Amendment 3 4 (Engineering Services during construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station, Force Main and Interceptor Trunk Sewer), C-972 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main), C-973 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station), C-991 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main Discharge Structure), C-974 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "A"), C-975 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "B"), C-976 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "C"), C-977 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "D") and C-978 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "E"), Federal Project C-291148-06; and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for said project. Section Five. The Director of Finance of the District is hereby directed to repay the loan as authorized in Section One above as funds become available in the Fee Fee Trunk Sewer Subdistrict. Section Six. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 5 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 18, 1985.
