AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($450,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres to be used for the construction of storm sewers,
together with repayment of the cost of Engineering, Survey and
Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection
with such construction project in South Price Road - Phase I,
Section II (S-1605, C-1207), in the City of Olivette, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($120,000.00) toward the total
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres, and
WHEREAS, the City of Olivette, Missouri has agreed to
contribute One Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($165,000.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the
University City Branch of River des Peres,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($450,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University
City Branch of River des Peres to be used for the construction of
storm sewers, together with repayment of the cost of Engineering,
Survey and Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs incurred in
connection with such construction project in South Price Road -
Phase I, Section II (S-1605, C-1207), in the City of Olivette,
Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 8, 1986.
