AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Ninety-six
Thousand Dollars ($496,000.00) from the Mississippi River
Operating Fund to be used for the construction of storm sewers,
together with repayment of the cost of Engineering, Survey and
Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection
with such construction project in Pine Ridge Drive (S-0181, C-
1205), in the City of Northwoods, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($120,000.00) toward the total
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Mississippi River
Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the City of Northwoods, Missouri pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute One Hundred Eighty-eight Thousand Dollars ($188,000.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Mississippi River Operating Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Ninety-six
Thousand Dollars ($496,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for the construction
of storm sewers, together with repayment of the cost of
Engineering, Survey and Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs
incurred in connection with such construction project in Pine
Ridge Drive (S-0181, C-1205), in the City of Northwoods, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 12, 1986.
