AN ORDINANCE, transferring Seventy Thousand Dollars
($70,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Watkins Creek, Thirty-nine Thousand Seven
Hundred Dollars ($39,700.00) of said sum as a loan, to the
Improvement Fund and appropriating Seventy-Thousand Dollars
($70,000.00) from the Improvement Fund as an advancement for the
construction of sanitary sewers, together with repayment of
Engineering, Survey and Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs
incurred with such construction project in Subdistrict No. 553
(Bellefontaine & Talisman) S-1662, C-1217, in St. Louis County,
Missouri, and providing for repayment of such loan and
advancement.
WHEREAS, proceedings have been taken for the
construction of sanitary sewers in Subdistrict No. 553
(Bellefontaine and Talisman) S-1662, C-1217, Thirty-nine Thousand
Seven Hundred Dollars ($39,700.00) toward the total costs of
construction to be paid for by special tax bills or other evidence
of special benefit assessments upon the land benefitted by such
improvement, and
WHEREAS, Resolution 1641, adopted August 11, 1982,
provided that the District will absorb the cost of the outfall
portion of said sanitary sewers which amounts to Thirty Thousand
Three Hundred Dollars ($30,300.00),
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seventy Thousand Dollars
($70,000.00) is hereby transferred from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Watkins Creek, Thirty-nine
Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($39,700.00) of said sum as a loan,
to the Improvement Fund as an advancement for the construction of
sanitary sewers, together with repayment of Engineering, Survey
and Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs incurred with such
construction project in Subdistrict No. 553 (Bellefontaine &
Talisman) S-1662, C-1217, in St. Louis County, Missouri, pending
payment into the Improvement Fund of the costs hereby advanced
from cash payments in aid from any source and from the proceeds of
collection of special benefit assessments levied, or special tax
bills issued, to pay such costs.
Section Two. The sum of Seventy Thousand Dollars
($70,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund as
an advancement for the construction of sanitary sewers, together
with repayment of Engineering, Survey and Inspection, and
miscellaneous other costs incurred with such construction project
in Subdistrict No. 553 (Bellefontaine & Talisman) S-1662, C-1217,
in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Three. The anticipated payments, together with
any interest earned, shall be paid into the Improvement Fund named
in Section Two above, and shall be transferred by the Director of
Finance from the Improvement Fund of the District as repayment of
the loan directed in Section One above.
Section Four. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
