AN ORDINANCE, awarding a contract to National Union
Fire Insurance Company (Lawton, Byrne, Bruner Insurance Agency
Co., agent) for the District's Public Official Liability Insurance
coverage from March 8, 1986 to March 7, 1987, with an emergency
clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The National Union Fire Insurance
Company, who submitted a quote for the District's Public Official
Liability Insurance coverage at and for an annual premium of Forty
Four Thousand Five Hundred Thirteen Dollars ($44,513.00) for such
policy period, is hereby awarded the contract for such liability
coverage from March 8, 1986 to March 7, 1987.
Section Two. The insurance coverage as specified
herein is necessary for the protection of the public welfare, and
the contract for such coverage must be awarded without delay, thus
creating an emergency within the meaning of the Plan.
Accordingly, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 26, 1986.
