AN ORDINANCE, awarding a contract to Kemper Insurance
Group (Ricci Associates, Inc., agent) for the District's Boiler
and Machinery Insurance coverage from March 1, 1986 to February
28, 1987, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Kemper Insurance Group, who
submitted a quote for the District's Boiler and Machinery
Insurance coverage, at and for an annual premium of Four Thousand
Two Hundred Eighty-three Dollars ($4,283.00) for such policy
period, is hereby awarded the contract for such Boiler and
Machinery coverage from March 1, 1986 to February 28, 1987.
Section Two. The insurance coverage as specified
herein is necessary for the protection of the public welfare, and
the contract for such coverage must be awarded without delay, thus
creating an emergency within the meaning of the Plan.
Accordingly, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 26, 1986.
