AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Contract E-565 with O'Brien & Gere
Engineers, Inc. for engineering services for the final design of
Meramec Sub-Area 5 Facilities.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized to enter into Contract E-565 with
O'Brien & Gere Engineers, Inc. for engineering services for the
final design of Meramec Sub-Area 5 Facilities.
Section Two. The execution of Contract E-565, as
authorized in Section One above, shall be completed only after the
General Counsel has received a letter satisfactory to the General
Counsel from the Chrysler Corporation whereby said Chrysler
Corporation agrees to pay the District an annual fee for twenty
years in an amount sufficient to reimburse the District for up to
Three Million Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($3,800,000.00) of
the costs of construction of the Meramec Sub-Area 5 Facilities.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 26, 1986.
