AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-three Thousand Nine
Hundred Dollars ($33,900.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for the
construction of a gabion wall, together with repayment of the cost
of Engineering, Survey and Inspection, and miscellaneous other
costs incurred in connection with such construction project in
Litzsinger Road No. 9809 (85017), in the City of Ladue, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said gabion
wall is Thirty-one Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-four and 80/100
Dollars ($31,784.80), and the cost of inspection, construction
staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and allowance for
construction change orders is Two Thousand One Hundred Fifteen and
20/100 Dollars ($2,115.20), and
WHEREAS, the property owner to be served by said
project has agreed to contribute Four Thousand Seventy-five
Dollars ($4,075.00) for the cost of materials of said project;
upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will
be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty-three Thousand Nine
Hundred Dollars ($33,900.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for the construction of a gabion wall, together
with repayment of the cost of Engineering, Survey and Inspection,
and miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection with such
construction project in Litzsinger Road No. 9809 (85017), in the
City of Ladue, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 26, 1986.
