AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seventeen Thousand Seven
Hundred Dollars ($17,700.00) from the Mississippi River Operating
Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of a gabion
wall in Rolling Drive No. 4447 (S-2202, C-1223), in the City of
Berkeley, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said gabion
wall is Fourteen Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-eight Dollars
($14,958.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs and allowance for
construction change orders is Two Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-two
Dollars ($2,742.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Five Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($5,900.00) toward the total
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Mississippi River
Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the City of Berkeley, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Five Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($5,900.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Mississippi
River Operating Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seventeen Thousand Seven
Hundred Dollars ($17,700.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for
the construction of a gabion wall in Rolling Drive No. 4447 (S-
2202, C-1223), in the City of Berkeley, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 9, 1986.
