AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighty-seven Thousand One
Hundred Sixty Dollars ($87,160.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of a gabion wall in 10602 Oak
Gate - 888 Chapel Oaks Road (85094), in the City of Frontenac,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said gabion
wall is Eighty-two Thousand One Hundred and 40/100 Dollars
($82,100.40), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement charges and allowance for
construction change orders is Five Thousand Fifty-nine and 60/100
Dollars ($5,059.60), and
WHEREAS, the property owners to be served by said
project have agreed to contribute Eleven Thousand One Hundred
Sixty Dollars ($11,160.00) toward the total costs of said project;
upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will
be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighty-seven Thousand One
Hundred Sixty Dollars ($87,160.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of a
gabion wall in 10602 Oak Gate - 888 Chapel Oaks Road (85094), in
the City of Frontenac, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 9, 1986.
