AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty Thousand Eight
Hundred Dollars ($40,800.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project
costs for the construction of storm sewers in 215 Newport (S-1996,
C-1222), in the City of Webster Groves, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Thirty Seven Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-seven and
80/100 Dollars ($37,967.80), and the cost of inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and
allowance for construction change orders is Two Thousand Eight
Hundred Thirty-two and 20/100 Dollars ($2,832.20), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Thirteen Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($13,600.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Webster Groves, Missouri, has
agreed to contribute Thirteen Thousand Six Hundred Dollars
($13,600.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-Thousand Eight Hundred
Dollars ($40,800.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be
used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in 215
Newport (S-1996, C-1222), in the City of Webster Groves, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 9, 1986.
