AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-eight Thousand Fifty
Dollars ($28,050.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Sugar Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in No. 601
Crest Court (S-832, C-1227), in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Twenty-three Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Dollars
($23,370.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs and allowance for
construction change orders is Four Thousand Six Hundred Eighty
Dollars ($4,680.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Nine Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($9,350.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Sugar Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Kirkwood, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Nine Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($9,350.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Sugar
Creek.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-eight Thousand Fifty
Dollars ($28,050.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Sugar Creek to be
used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in No.
601 Crest Court (S-832, C-1227), in the City of Kirkwood,
Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
