AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Ninety-two
Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Dollars ($192,450.00) from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in Lee Avenue #318 (S-2066, C-1230), in the City of
Kirkwood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is One Hundred Eighty Thousand One Hundred Twelve and
60/100 Dollars ($180,112.60), and the cost of inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and
allowance for construction change orders is Twelve Thousand Three
Hundred Thirty-seven and 40/100 Dollars ($12,337.40), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Sixty-four Thousand One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($64,150.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Kirkwood, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Sixty-four Thousand One Hundred Fifty Dollars
($64,150.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:

Section One. The sum of One Hundred Ninety-two
Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Dollars ($192,450.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Lee Ave #318 (S-2066, C-1230),
in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 14, 1986.
