AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Seven Thousand
Dollars ($107,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project
costs for the construction of a gabion wall in 72 Clermont Lane
and 434 S. Lindbergh (85113), in the City of Ladue, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said gabion
wall is Ninety-nine Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($99,900.00),
and the costs of inspection, construction staking, advertisement
costs, easement charges and allowance for construction change
orders is Seven Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($7,100.00), and
WHEREAS, the property owners to be served by said
project have agreed to contribute Twelve Thousand Four Hundred
Sixty-five Dollars ($12,465.00) toward the total costs of said
project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said
money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Seven Thousand
Dollars ($107,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be
used for project costs for the construction of a gabion wall in 72
Clermont Lane and 434 S. Lindbergh (85113), in the City of Ladue,
Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 14, 1986.
