AN ORDINANCE, transferring all funds in the South
County Sewer Operating Fund and any monies received or to be
received by said fund, to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No. 449 (Meramec
River Basin - MSD Southwest), and appropriating Two Million Two
Hundred Seventy-seven Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($2,277,200.00)
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Subdistrict No. 449 (Meramec River Basin - MSD Southwest), of
which Four Hundred Fifty-five Thousand Four Hundred Forty Dollars
($455,440.00) is to be used to pay the District's twenty percent
(20%) share; a grant of One Million Two Hundred Fifty-two Thousand
Four Hundred Sixty Dollars ($1,252,460.00) is anticipated from the
Environmental Protection Agency, and a grant of Five Hundred
Sixty-nine Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($569,300.00) is
anticipated from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for
Contracts E-460 (Engineering services during the design of the
South County Interceptor), E-485 (Engineering services during
construction of the South County Interceptor), C-1146
(Construction of the South County Interceptor), E-486 (Engineering
services during construction of the Terri-Robyn Interceptor) and
C-1147 (Construction of the Terri-Robyn Interceptor), Federal
Project C-290875-08.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the South
County Interceptor is One Million Seven Hundred Eighty Thousand
Seven Hundred Ninety-eight Dollars ($1,780,798.00), and the bid
for the construction of the Terri-Robyn Interceptor is Two Hundred
Thirteen Thousand Dollars ($213,000.00), and the cost of
engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertising and
allowance for construction change orders is Two Hundred Eighty-
three Thousand Four Hundred Two Dollars ($283,402.00), and
WHEREAS, the District anticipates a fifty-five percent
(55%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United
States to pay fifty-five percent (55%) of the cost of said
project, and
WHEREAS, a twenty-five percent (25%) grant is
anticipated from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to
pay twenty-five percent (25%) of the cost of said project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. All funds in the South County Sewer
Operating Fund and any monies received or to be received by said
Fund are hereby transferred to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No. 449 (Meramec
River Basin - MSD Southwest).
Section Two. The sum of Four Hundred Fifty-five
Thousand Four Hundred Forty Dollars ($455,440.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No. 449 (Meramec River Basin - MSD
Southwest) to pay twenty percent (20%) of the cost for Contracts
E-460 (Engineering services during the design of the South County
Interceptor), E-485 (Engineering services during construction of
the South County Interceptor), C-1146 (Construction of the South

County Interceptor), E-486 (Engineering services during
construction of the Terri-Robyn Interceptor) and C-1147
(Construction of the Terri-Robyn Interceptor), Federal Project C-
290875-08.
Section Three. The anticipated grant from the
Environmental Protection Agency of the United States amounts to
One Million Two Hundred Fifty-two Thousand Four Hundred Sixty
Dollars ($1,252,460.00), which will be deposited in the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No.
449 (Meramec River Basin - MSD Southwest) and is to pay fifty-five
(55%) of the cost for Contracts E-460 (Engineering services during
the design of the South County Interceptor), E-485 (Engineering
services during construction of the South County Interceptor), C-
1146 (Construction of the South County Interceptor), E-486
(Engineering services during construction of the Terri-Robyn
Interceptor) and C-1147 (Construction of the Terri-Robyn
Interceptor), Federal Project C-290875-08, and said amount is
hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and
payable under the terms of the contracts for said project.
Section Four. The anticipated grant from the Missouri
Department of Natural Resources amounts to Five Hundred Sixty-nine
Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($569,300.00), which will be
deposited in the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No. 449 (Meramec River Basin - MSD
Southwest), and is to pay twenty-five percent (25%) of the cost
for Contracts E-460 (Engineering services during the design of the

South County Interceptor), E-485 (Engineering services during
construction of the South County Interceptor), C-1146
(Construction of the South County Interceptor), E-486 (Engineering
services during construction of the Terri-Robyn Interceptor) and
C-1147 (Construction of the Terri-Robyn Interceptor), Federal
Project C-290875-08; and said amount is hereby appropriated to be
used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of
the contracts for said project.
Section Five. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
