AN ORDINANCE, transferring all funds in the Spirit West
Operating Fund and any monies received or to be received by said
Fund to the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account and appropriating One
Million Three Hundred Eighty Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars
($1,380,700.00) from the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account, of which
Two Hundred Seventy-six Thousand One Hundred Forty Dollars
($276,140.00) is to be used to pay the District's twenty percent
(20%) share; a grant of Seven Hundred Fifty-nine Thousand Three
Hundred Eighty-five Dollars ($759,385.00) is anticipated from the
Environmental Protection Agency, and a grant of Three Hundred
Forty-five Thousand One Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($345,175.00)
is anticipated from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources
for Contracts E-482 (Engineering services during construction of
the Chesterfield Valley Sewerage System) and C-1137 (Construction
of the Chesterfield Valley Sewerage System), Federal Project C-
291148-07.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the
Chesterfield Valley Sewerage System is One Million One Hundred
Ninety-one Thousand Eight Hundred Forty Dollars ($1,191,840.00),
and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking,
advertising and allowance for construction change orders is One
Hundred Eighty-eight Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty Dollars
($188,860.00), and
WHEREAS, the District anticipates a fifty-five percent
(55%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United
States to pay fifty-five percent (55%) of the cost of said
project, and
WHEREAS, a twenty-five percent (25%) grant is
anticipated from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to
pay twenty-five percent (25%) of the cost of said project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. All funds in the Spirit West Operating
Fund and any monies received or to be received by said Fund are
hereby transferred to the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account.
Section Two. The sum of Two Hundred Seventy-six
Thousand One Hundred Forty Dollars ($276,140.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account to pay
twenty percent (20%) of the cost for Contracts E-482 (Engineering
services during construction of the Chesterfield Valley Sewerage
System) and C-1137 (Construction of the Chesterfield Valley
Sewerage System), Federal Project C-291148-07.
Section Three. The anticipated grant from the
Environmental Protection Agency of the United States amounts to
Seven Hundred Fifty-nine Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-five
Dollars ($759,385.00), which will be deposited in the Fee Fee
Connection Fees Account and is to pay fifty-five percent (55%) of
the cost for Contracts E-482 (Engineering services during
construction of the Chesterfield Valley Sewerage System) and C-
1137 (Construction of the Chesterfield Valley Sewerage System),
Federal Project C-291148-07; and said amount is hereby
appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable

under the terms of the contracts for said project.

Section Four. The anticipated grant from the Missouri
Department of Natural Resources amounts to Three Hundred Forty-
five Thousand One Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($345,175.00),
which will be deposited in the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account,
and is to pay twenty-five percent (25%) of the cost for Contracts
E-482 (Engineering services during construction of the
Chesterfield Valley Sewerage System) and C-1137 (Construction of
the Chesterfield Valley Sewerage System), Federal Project C-
291148-07; and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to
make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the
contracts for said project.
Section Five. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 28, 1986.
