AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Two Thousand
Five Hundred Dollars ($202,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used
for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in January-
Thurston Phase II (S-2285, C-1231), in the City of Berkeley,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is One Hundred Eighty-eight Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-
seven and 40/100 Dollars ($188,437.40), and the cost of
engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement
costs, easement charges and allowance for construction change
orders is Fourteen Thousand Sixty-two and 60/100 Dollars
($14,062.60), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Sixty-seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($67,500.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Berkeley, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Sixty-seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($67,500.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Two Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($202,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in January-Thurston Phase II (S-2285, C-1231), in
the City of Berkeley, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 28, 1986.
