AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twelve Thousand Three
Hundred Dollars ($12,300.00) from the Mississippi River Operating
Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Carl No. 8440 (S-1920, C-1233), in the City of Jennings,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Ten Thousand Two Hundred Forty Dollars ($10,240.00), and
the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement charges and allowance for
construction change orders is Two Thousand Sixty Dollars
($2,060.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Four Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($4,100.00) toward the total
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Mississippi River
Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the City of Jennings, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Four Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($4,100.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Mississippi
River Operating Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twelve Thousand Three Hundred
Dollars ($12,300.00) is hereby appropriated from the Mississippi
River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Carl No. 8440 (S-1920, C-1233), in
the City of Jennings, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 11, 1986.
