AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Ninety-two
Thousand Dollars ($192,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in January-
Thurston Phase IV (S-2433, C-1238), in the City of Ferguson,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is One Hundred Sixty-six Thousand Seventy-eight and 50/100
Dollars ($166,078.50), and the cost of inspection, construction
staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and allowance for
construction change orders is Twenty-five Thousand Nine Hundred
Twenty-one and 50/100 Dollars ($25,921.50), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Sixty-four Thousand Dollars ($64,000.00) toward the total costs of
said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source,
said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Ferguson, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Sixty-four Thousand Dollars ($64,000.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Ninety-two
Thousand Dollars ($192,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in January-Thurston Phase IV (S-2433, C-1238), in
the City of Ferguson, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 25, 1986.
