AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Thirty-nine
Thousand Dollars ($339,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in West Rose
Hill #230 (S-1371, C-1241), in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Three Hundred Sixteen Thousand Three Hundred Forty-four
Dollars ($316,344.00), and the cost of inspection, construction
staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and allowance for
construction change orders is Twenty-two Thousand Six Hundred
Fifty-six Dollars ($22,656.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
One Hundred Thirteen Thousand Dollars ($113,000.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Kirkwood, Missouri has agreed to
contribute One Hundred Thirteen Thousand Dollars ($113,000.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds form said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST.LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Thirty-nine
Thousand Dollars ($339,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in West Rose Hill #230 (S-1371, C-1241), in the City
of Kirkwood, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 25, 1986.
