AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirteen Thousand Four
Hundred Dollars ($13,400.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project
costs for the construction of storm sewers in Geyer Road No. 841
(86041), in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Eleven Thousand One Hundred Sixty-three Dollars
($11,163.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and
allowance for construction change orders is Two Thousand Two
Hundred Thirty-seven Dollars ($2,237.00), and
WHEREAS, the property owner served by said project has
agreed to contribute Six Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars
($6,700.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source said money will be returned
to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Deer Creek.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirteen Thousand Four
Hundred Dollars ($13,400.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Geyer Road No. 841 (86041), in the City of Kirkwood,
Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 25, 1986.
