HomeMy Public PortalAbout06622 O R D I N A N C E NO. 6622 AN ORDINANCE, transferring all funds in the Ellisville Operating Fund and any monies received or to be received by said Fund, to the Fee Fee Extension and Improvement Fund; transferring Two Million Seven Hundred Ninety-four Thousand One Hundred Sixty Dollars ($2,794,160.00) as a loan from the General Fund of the District to the Fee Fee Extension and Improvement Fund, and providing for repayment of said loan; transferring Eighty Thousand Dollars ($80,000.00) from the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account to the Fee Fee Extension and Improvement Fund; and appropriating Fourteen Million Two Hundred Forty-seven Thousand Dollars ($14,247,000.00) from the Fee Fee Extension and Improvement Fund, of which Three Million Nine Hundred Eighty-nine Thousand One Hundred Sixty Dollars ($3,989,160.00) is to be used to pay the District's share; a grant of Seven Million Fifty-two Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-five Dollars ($7,052,265.00) is anticipated from the Environmental Protection Agency, and a grant of Three Million Two Hundred Five Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($3,205,575.00) is anticipated from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for Contracts E-598 (Engineering services during construction of the Missouri River Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase II) and C-1192 (Construction of the Missouri River Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase II), Federal Project C-291148-10. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Missouri River Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase II is Twelve Million Three Hundred Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-seven Dollars ($12,308,977.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertising and allowance for construction change orders is One Million Nine Hundred Thirty-eight Thousand Twenty-three Dollars ($1,938,023.00), and WHEREAS, the District anticipates a fifty-five percent (55%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States to pay fifty-five percent (55%) of the eligible costs of said project, and WHEREAS, a twenty-five percent (25%) grant is anticipated from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to pay twenty-five percent (25%) of the eligible costs of said project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. All funds in the Ellisville Operating Fund and any monies received or to be received by said Fund are hereby transferred to the Fee Fee Extension and Improvement Fund. Section Two. The sum of Two Million Seven Hundred Ninety-four Thousand One Hundred Sixty Dollars ($2,794,160.00) is hereby transferred as a loan from the General Fund of the District to the Fee Fee Extension and Improvement Fund. Section Three. The sum of Eighty Thousand Dollars ($80,000.00) is hereby transferred from the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account to the Fee Fee Extension and Improvement Fund. Section Four. The sum of Three Million Nine Hundred Eighty-nine Thousand One Hundred Sixty Dollars ($3,989,160.00) is hereby appropriated from the Fee Fee Extension and Improvement 3 Fund to pay the District's share of the cost for Contracts E-598 (Engineering services during construction of the Missouri River Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase II) and C-1192 (Construction of the Missouri River Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase II), Federal Project C-291148-10. Section Five. The anticipated grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States amounts to Seven Million Fifty-two Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-five Dollars ($7,052,265.00), which will be deposited in the Fee Fee Extension and Improvement Fund and is to pay fifty-five percent (55%) of the eligible costs for Contracts E-598 (Engineering services during construction of the Missouri River Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase II) and C-1192 (Construction of the Missouri River Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase II), Federal Project C-291148-10; and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for said project. Section Six. The anticipated grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources amounts to Three Million Two Hundred Five Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($3,205,575.00), which will be deposited in the Fee Fee Extension and Improvement Fund, and is to pay twenty-five percent (25%) of the eligible costs for Contracts E-598 (Engineering services during construction of the Missouri River Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase II) and C-1192 (Construction of the Missouri River Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase II), Federal Project C-291148-10; 4 and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for said project. Section Seven. The Director of Finance is hereby directed to repay the loan as authorized in Section Two above as funds become available in the Fee Fee Trunk Sewer Subdistrict. Section Eight. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 5 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 9, 1986.
