AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fifty-five Thousand Eight
Hundred Dollars ($55,800.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Chester &
Taylor (S-2256, C-1226), in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Forty-seven Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-three Dollars
($47,553.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs and allowance for
construction change orders is Eight Thousand Two Hundred Forty-
seven Dollars ($8,247.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Eighteen Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($18,600.00) toward the
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Kirkwood, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Eighteen Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($18,600.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty-five Thousand Eight
Hundred Dollars ($55,800.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in Chester & Taylor (S-2256, C-1226), in the City of
Kirkwood, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 9, 1986.
