AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seventeen Thousand Seven
Hundred Dollars ($17,700.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project
costs for the construction of storm sewers in Cleveland No. 977
(S-2250, C-1242), in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Fourteen Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-five Dollars
($14,995.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and
allowance for construction change orders is Two Thousand Seven
Hundred Five Dollars ($2,705.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Five Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($5,900.00) toward the total
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Kirkwood, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Five Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($5,900.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seventeen Thousand Seven
Hundred Dollars ($17,700.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Cleveland No. 977 (S-2250, C-1242), in the City of
Kirkwood, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 9, 1986.
