HomeMy Public PortalAbout06643 O R D I N A N C E NO. 6643 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Twenty-seven Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($127,200.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of River des Peres to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Arlmont-Delavan-Clearview Project B, C, D (86047), in the City of Bel-Nor, Missouri. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is One Hundred Eighteen Thousand One Hundred Eleven Dollars ($118,111.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and allowance for construction change orders is Nine Thousand Eighty-nine Dollars ($9,089.00), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Forty-two Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($42,400.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of River des Peres, and WHEREAS, the City of Bel-Nor, Missouri has agreed to contribute Forty-two Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($42,400.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of River des Peres. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Twenty-seven Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($127,200.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of River des Peres to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Arlmont- Delavan-Clearview Project B, C, D (86047), in the City of Bel-Nor, Missouri. Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 9, 1986.
