AN ORDINANCE, vacating any right, title or interest of
the District in conditionally vacated alleys and a street in City
Block 286 of the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the owner of this land has requested that this
District vacate any right, title or interest that it may have in
subject vacated alleys and street, and this District has no
further use for these vacated alleys and street,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District hereby vacates any right, title or interest that it may
have in the following described conditionally vacated alleys and
street:
The North-South alley in City Block 286 (formerly City
Block 72W) from the South line of Ashley Street to the North line
of Biddle Street.
The North-South alley in City Block 286 from the North
line of Ashley Street to the South line of O'Fallon Street.
Ashley Street from the East line of 3rd Street to a
line ten feet (10') West of and parallel to the West line of
Collins Street in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Exception therefrom all that part of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District's twenty-five foot (25') wide easement for its Biddle Sewer as described in instrument recorded in Book 5101, Page 49 of the Records of the City of St. Louis Recorder's Office, which lies within, over, under and across conditionally vacated Ashley Street and the North-South alleys in City Block 286 of the City of St. Louis, and described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the intersection of Biddle Street and Collins Street as
established by Ordinance No. 22834 vacating the western fifteen feet (15') of said Collins Street and running North along the East line of said vacated portion of Collins Street a distance of two hundred seventeen and 42/100 feet (217.42') to the point of beginning of the description of said Biddle Sewer Easement; thence North 52 degrees 59 minutes West a distance of three hundred sixty-nine and 4/10 feet (369.4') to the East line of 3rd Street as established by said Ordinance No. 22834; thence North 01 degrees 22 minutes West along said East line of 3rd Street a distance of thirty-one and 62/100 feet (31.62') to a point; thence South 52 degrees 59 minutes East a distance of three hundred sixty-nine and 4/10 feet (369.4') to the West line of Collins Street established as aforesaid; thence South 0 degrees 45 minutes East a distance of thirty-one and 62/100 feet (31.62') to the point of beginning. Said Ashley Street, the North-South alleys, and portions of Collins and 3rd Streets having heretofore been conditionally vacated by City Ordinance No. 22834. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 27, 1986.
